I’ll gladly enjoy an over-easy egg, grilled pineapple, or
pickled beets separately, ideally
at separate meals, but all together on top of a bacon cheeseburger? I’m not seeing the appeal.
Apparently this is an Aussie thing - “with the lot”.
Anyone had one? Enlighten me.

I’ve had a close combination: pineapple, fried egg, bacon, chee, and the fixins.
It works, just messy. I can see the pickled beets giving it some acidity from the pickling. Beets alone don’t seem strong enough to stand out in this mix.
I’m a fan of creative combinations. Kuma’s corner does this very well with their burgers. They’re based in Chicago, but have a location in Indy

Toss the egg, beets, pineapple, lettuce, and tomato into a side salad. Then maybe we’ll talk about eating what’s left of tha t burger.

I love a big, piled-high burger, but seems like the pineapple would be best on the side. Don’t get me wrong - I’d give it a try...

It’s hit or miss with the pineapple. For me, a grilled pineapple ring on a burger is a great addition. But there is also a weird anti-pineapple on food trend (pineapple on pizza is good dammit!) so it probably is favorably hated.

I’m not sure how you would take a bite. My mouth doesn’t open that wide.

Needs some jalapeno jam in there too.

Don’t have an issue with the pineapple. Have had one with grilled pineapple, peanut butter and Thai chili sauce...
The combo of oozing egg yolk with it is where I’m getting held up.

Oh I’m a sucker for egg on a burger.
You lost me at the peanut butter, but only because I’m allergic.

Yeah, an egg is a great addition. Just ups the savory-ness another notch. I don’t even really need the burger or the cheese
. Love a good BLT with an egg added into the mix.

Isn’t that just a breakfast sandwich?

Lettuce isn’t usually a breakfast thing.
Bacon, egg, cheese, & tomato? Yes.
